Up and coming designer Gianni Mora is releasing his latest collection entitled “Violent Great” on Friday, October 17th. Gianni is coming up very hot in the fashion world right now after linking up with Ian Connor. His most known piece is a baseball cap engraved with the phrase, “I think about you sometimes.” The hat has been spotted on the likes of Ian Connor, Wiz Khalifa, and Theophilus London.

The collection will include a button-down, a jacket, the hat, and a few more exclusives. Each will display a slogan conceived by Mora such as “Support the Arts, Stab a Jock” or the now-famous “I think about you sometimes.”

Virgil Abloh continues to walk the thin line between streetwear and high-fashion with the release of Off-White’s S/S 2015 lookbook for the “Moving Still” collection. Known best as Kanye West’s style adviser and co-owner of RSVP Gallery, Virgil has now released a number of notable streetwear projects such as Pyrex, and as of late, Off-White.

As Off-White moves past their initial burst onto the fashion scene, Virgil presents a robust collection that combines pre-defined brand labels and patterns with new colour palettes and graphics. Furthermore, fans can expect the same vertically striped pattern, “White” wordmark across the shoulders and crotch, as well as new aesthetics such as colourful patches and various floral patterns. Other innovations in this collection include the use of distressed denim, leather, and mesh to create a wide array of pieces such as shirts, jackets, bottoms, and more.

Cousin of Death, a streetwear brand hailing from Western Canada, continues to offer high quality, handmade Canadian garments with their Fall/Winter 2014 collection.

This collection uses tees, longsleeves, and beanies with like-coloured print and embroidery as a very simplistic approach to fashion for the colder months. Each piece of the collection showcases either “sleep” or “death” as an ominous reference to one of Nas’ lyrics from his 1994 track “NY State of Mind”.
