A$AP Rocky has been quiet for the last year, only appearing on a select few tracks as a feature. As the fall season hits, Lord Flacko is ready to take over the fourth quarter, all leading up to the release of his anticipated sophomore album in early 2015.

Video directed by Shomi Patwary, the A$AP Mob roams through the NYC street, including appearances by Juicy J and Yung Gleesh. The 26-year-old rapper fires a few verbal shots at the BEEN TRILL clothing line-DJ collective and Hood By Air clothing line, signaling the death of the ‘fuccboi season’. This will hopefully put a stop to the bubble of black and white decal fashion and streetwear that was originally brought on by A$AP Rocky and then heavily commercialized on the streetwear scene. In his own words:

I ain’t really fu**in’ with that BEEN TRILL, swear that sh*t is booty like Tip Drill
HBA sh*t is weak, you can keep that

I guess HBA didn’t cut Rocky that cheque, it’s pretty clear that their rise to mainstream was all due to A$AP Mob endorsements.

Alexander Wang‘s 2012 ready-to-wear collection recruits A$AP Rocky, Diplo and Penn Badgley to promote and enhance their collection. Filmed at locations throughout the city of Beijing, China, the trio narrates each of the different aspects that motivate them during their creative processes.

Divulging what fuels each of their ambitions, the video gives off a relaxed vibe as slowed down visuals of each artist is played over Dawn Golden and Rosy Cross’s mellow track titled “Blacks.” Looking closely, a few items from the collection can be seen as the video does a perfect job at showcasing both the creatives and the respectable label.

After A$AP Rocky’s debut album coming in at #1, the A$AP hype has been on a steady rise, eventually securing the Harlem rapper a cover spot on italian L’Uomo Vogue.
